AbstractHomicide is one of the heinous crimes executed by human beings. It may be a consequence of argument between acquaintances, robbery, sexual assault, financial conflict, property disputes, infidelity and other causes and results in innumerable deaths reverberating across every levels of society. In this study we have analysed data of autopsied homicidal deaths between January 2015 to December 2016. We found that males were common victims (56.52% cases) and the age group of 21-30 years was most commonly affected. We have found an increasing trend of homicide in this area. Most cases homicides were executed by sharp weapons followed by blunt.
