Abstract Kyphoscoliosis is associated with physical and functional problems which are challenging both to the anaesthesiologist and obstetrician. We present a parturient at 34 weeks of gestation having severe kyphoscoliosis and chronic hypertension with fetus in transverse lie. She underwent classical Caesarean section under combined spinal and epidural anaesthesia. Perioperative period was uneventful, but the neonate had multiple congenital anomalies.
