AbstractTraditionally used tissue expander is costly and needs a large incision and major procedure for its insertion. Incision used for expander insertion can jeopardize the vascularity near the wound, gives a cosmetically unacceptable larger scar and also can make the site unsuitable for use as a flap. This article presents use of Foley’s catheter with inflatable bulb tissue expansion to facilitate the primary closure of wound in a case of post burn contracture.
